1. Agreement to Terms
These terms are between you and KML Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 42 674 626 307) trading as Wizard Resumes. By accessing or using the Wizard Resumes website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
Wizard Resumes provides professional resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile optimisation, and related career document services. Our services are designed for individuals seeking employment in mining, FIFO, oil & gas, and construction industries in Australia.
3. Orders and Payment
- All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
- Payment is required at the time of ordering before work commences.
- We accept major credit cards and payment platforms as displayed at checkout.
- Orders are confirmed via email once payment is successfully processed.
4. Delivery and Turnaround
- Standard turnaround for resume services is 48 hours from receipt of all required information.
- Turnaround times begin once we receive your completed questionnaire and any supporting documents.
- Delivery is via email in both Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF formats.
5. Revisions Policy
- All packages include unlimited revisions for 30 days from initial delivery.
- Revision requests must be clearly communicated via email.
- Revisions are typically completed within 24-48 hours.
- Major changes to career direction or target role may require additional fees.
- After the 30 days, updates are available through Always Ready, an optional paid subscription (A$39 per month, cancel any time). It covers unlimited update requests to your existing documents, handled one at a time and returned within 48 hours. It is not required, and declining it does not affect the guarantees below.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information about your work history, qualifications, and experience
- Respond to requests for clarification or additional information in a timely manner
- Review delivered documents and provide feedback within the revision period
- Not use our services for fraudulent purposes or to misrepresent your qualifications
7. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment, you receive full ownership of your completed resume and related documents.
- We retain the right to use anonymised versions of our work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you specifically opt out.
- Our website content, templates, and proprietary methods remain our intellectual property.
8. Refund Policy
The 30-day satisfaction guarantee and the 60-day interview guarantee are extra promises. They sit on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. They do not replace or limit those rights. See our Refund Policy for how those promises work. Both clocks start at delivery of your completed documents.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the Australian Consumer Law lets us limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee in relation to services (including under section 64A), and it is fair and reasonable to do so, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having the services supplied again.
Where we advertise a specific interview or satisfaction promise, the remedy is the one set out in our Refund Policy. Those promises do not guarantee that an employer will hire you.
For claims that are not covered by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded: we are not liable for loss of opportunity, employment, income, or other consequential loss; and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service.
10. Accuracy of Information
We rely on the information you provide to create your documents. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all information in your completed resume and related documents before submitting them to employers. A rewrite uses the experience, tickets and hours you already have. It does not invent site time, plant or licences. Before-and-after samples and ATS scores on this site are illustrative diagnostics, not a promise of a particular employer outcome.
11. Privacy and marketing messages
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Commercial electronic messages (email or SMS) about our services are sent only where you have given express consent — for example by ticking a marketing box that is off by default — or where the Spam Act 2003 otherwise permits. Asking us to email a scanner report is not marketing consent. You can unsubscribe from any marketing message in one click.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service for future orders. The version that applies to an order is the version published on this page when you pay. We will not apply a later change so as to reduce a remedy you already have on a paid order. Changes are posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.
14. Warranty against defects
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
The benefits given by the satisfaction and interview promises on this site are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under law in relation to the services.
